CEF82/NA 0.6/1kV Fire Resistant Marine Cable | Mica Tape, Copper Braid Armor, PVC Sheath

Product Overview

The CEF82/NA EPR Insulated Armored Marine Power Cable is a fully-sheathed, fire-resistant armored cable designed for critical safety circuits. It combines a mica glass tape and EPR insulated core for circuit integrity during fire, with a PCP inner sheathtinned copper wire braid armor, and a final PVC outer sheath, offering complete mechanical, environmental, and fire protection.

Key Applications

  • Marine & Offshore: Essential for emergency power, lighting, and control systems on ships, oil platforms, and offshore installations, particularly where cables are exposed to the environment or require enhanced durability alongside fire resistance.

  • High-Risk Industrial: Vital in metallurgy, chemical plants, power generation, and mining for circuits that must remain operational during a fire and are installed in areas prone to abrasion, moisture, or chemical exposure.

Compliance & Standards

This cable is engineered to meet stringent international standards for fire survival and safety:

  • Design: IEC 60092-350, IEC 60092-353

  • Conductor: IEC 60228

  • Insulation & Sheath: IEC 60092-360

  • Fire Resistance: IEC 60331 (Circuit integrity under fire)

  • Flame Retardancy: IEC 60332-1, IEC 60332-3-22
