Product Overview
The CEPFR80/SC is a halogen-free, low-smoke, flame-retardant marine flexible power cable that combines superior electrical performance with enhanced safety. It features Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) insulation for excellent thermal and dielectric properties, a thermoplastic polyolefin (SHF1) inner sheath, and tinned copper wire braid armor. This design provides a flexible, shielded, and safe wiring solution for critical power and control circuits in demanding marine and industrial environments.

Key Performance Characteristics
-
Superior EPR Insulation: Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) offers outstanding dielectric strength, high flexibility over a wide temperature range, and excellent resistance to heat, moisture, and electrical stress.
-
Halogen-Free & Enhanced Safety: The construction materials are halogen-free (IEC 60754) and generate low smoke density (IEC 61034), minimizing corrosive gas emission and improving visibility in case of fire. It is also flame retardant (IEC 60332).
-
High Flexibility & EMI Shielding: Utilizes flexible Class 5/6 conductors for easy installation in tight spaces. The tinned copper wire braid armor provides effective electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding for sensitive control circuits.
-
Corrosion-Resistant Armor: Tinned copper braid offers good resistance to corrosion in humid marine atmospheres.
Standards & Compliance
This cable is designed and manufactured in accordance with key international marine and safety standards:
-
IEC 60092-350, 353 (General construction and tests)
-
IEC 60228 (Conductors)
-
IEC 60092-360 (Insulation and sheath materials)
-
IEC 60332-1 & IEC 60332-3-22 (Flame retardancy tests)
Typical Applications
This flexible and shielded cable is suitable for installations requiring safety, flexibility, and EMI protection:
-
Marine & Offshore: Power, lighting, and control system wiring within control panels, switchboards, and for instrumentation on ships and offshore platforms, especially in areas where halogen-free materials are specified.
-
Industrial: Flexible connections in control cabinets and industrial machinery where EMI shielding, flexibility, and enhanced fire safety (low smoke, zero halogen) are important.
