NYY cables are PVC-insulated, PVC-sheathed power cables rated at 600/1000V for fixed installations. Designed for versatility across indoor, outdoor, underground, and submerged applications, they offer robust electrical performance with flame-retardant properties compliant with IEC 60502-1.

Installation Guidelines

  1. Bending Radius:

    • Single-core: ≥15× overall diameter

    • Multicore: ≥12× overall diameter

  2. Ambient Temperature: ≥ -5°C during installation.

  3. Pulling Tension: Use cable grips – avoid conductor stress.

  4. Corrosion Protection: For acidic soils, use additional conduit.

  5. Grounding: Multicore cables require armor grounding per IEC 60364-5-52.
