Construction Details

  1. Conductor: Flexible tinned copper conductor, Class 5 stranding per IEC 60228, ensuring high flexibility and corrosion resistance.

  2. Insulation: Ethylene propylene rubber (IEP) type 3GI3 according to DIN VDE 0207 part 20, providing excellent electrical properties and thermal stability.

  3. Core Identification:

    • 4-core configurations: Black, Blue, Brown, and Green-Yellow (earth)

    • Multi-core configurations: Black cores with white numbering, plus Green-Yellow earth conductor

  4. Core Assembly: Power cores are laid up around a rubber filler (if needed) and wrapped with PET tape to maintain circular geometry and mechanical stability.

  5. Inner Sheath: Ethylene propylene rubber type EI 4 according to DIN VDE 0207 part 20, applied in natural color as a bedding layer.

  6. Concentric Screen (All Sizes): Braided tinned copper wires (0.30 mm diameter) with minimum 90% coverage, providing effective electromagnetic shielding and earth continuity.

  7. Separator: Polyester tape applied both under and over the braided screen for mechanical protection and separation.

  8. Outer Sheath: Synthetic thermosetting compound type 5GM3 according to DIN VDE 0207 part 21, in distinctive yellow color for high visibility and safety.
