CHEF90/NA Marine Communication Cable – Fire Resistant, EPR Insulated, IEC 60331 & 60092 Compliant

Product Overview

The CHEF90/NA is a premium Fire Resistant (FR) marine communication cable engineered for critical circuits that must maintain circuit integrity during a fire. It combines EPR insulation with a Mica Glass Tape barrierPCP inner sheath, and Galvanized Steel Wire Armor to provide exceptional fire performance and mechanical durability. Compliant with the stringent IEC 60331 standard for fire resistance, it is designed for use in marine, offshore, and high-risk industrial safety systems.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Certified Fire Resistance: Engineered to meet IEC 60331 requirements, ensuring continued operation of essential communication and safety systems during a fire emergency.

  • Enhanced Safety Construction: Features Low Smoke, Halogen-Free (LSHF) properties (IEC 60754, IEC 61034) and high Flame Retardancy (IEC 60332) for overall circuit safety.

  • Robust Protection: The Mica/EPR insulation and PCP (Polychloroprene) inner sheath offer superior thermal and fire protection. Galvanized Steel Wire Braid armor provides excellent mechanical strength and grounding.

  • Marine & Heavy-Duty Grade: Built to withstand the harshest environmental conditions on ships, offshore platforms, and in demanding industrial plants.
