CEV90/NA 0.6/1kV Marine Cable | Fire Resistant, Steel Wire Armor, IEC 60331

Product Overview

The CEV90/NA EPR Insulated Armored Marine Power Cable is a heavy-duty fire-resistant (IEC 60331) cable engineered for critical circuits in physically demanding environments. It combines mica glass tape and EPR insulation for circuit integrity during fire with a PVC inner sheath and robust galvanized steel wire braid armor. Designed without an outer sheath, this cable provides maximum mechanical protection against impact, crushing, and abrasion while ensuring continuous operation of essential safety systems under fire conditions.

Key Applications

  • Marine & Offshore: Critical for emergency power, lighting, and control systems in high-risk areas such as engine rooms, steering gear compartments, and pump rooms on ships, oil rigs, and offshore platforms.

  • Heavy Industrial: Suitable for fire-resistant circuits in metallurgy, mining, power generation, and chemical plants where cables are exposed to severe mechanical stress and must maintain functionality during a fire.

Compliance & Standards

This cable is manufactured to meet essential international standards for fire safety and electrical performance:

  • Design: IEC 60092-350, IEC 60092-353

  • Conductor: IEC 60228

  • Insulation & Sheath: IEC 60092-360

  • Fire Resistance: IEC 60331

  • Flame Retardancy: IEC 60332-1, IEC 60332-3-22
