Product Overview

Battery Cable is intended for interconnection between batteries and starter or ground in vehicles. It is manufactured using stranded bare copper with PVC, rubber, TPR, or cross-link insulation to ensure reliable performance in engine compartments and other demanding environments.

  • During installation: +5°C up to +70°C

  • Fixed installed: -30°C up to +70°C

  • Short circuit (max. 5 s): up to 160°C

  • Ambient temperature at storage: up to 40°C

• Minimum inner bending radius: 4D

Battery cable is manufactured using stranded bare copper with PVC, rubber, TPR, or cross-link insulation. Available in black or red rubber (SGR) – normally black, and PVC (SGT) in both colors.

Cable types:

• SGT – Starter or Ground General Purpose Thermoplastic (PVC insulation)

• SGR – Starter or Ground General Purpose Rubber

• SGX – Starter Ground General Purpose Cross-Linked

Conductor: Bare copper according to ASTM

Insulation: PVC / Rubber / Cross-linked (as per type)

Possible insulation colors: As per customer request
