Product Overview
The CHJVP82/NA is a flexible, Fire Resistant marine communication cable engineered to maintain critical signal integrity during fire emergencies while offering excellent installation flexibility and electromagnetic compatibility. It features a fire-survivable mica glass tape + XLPE insulation core, a PVC inner sheath, an overall electromagnetic screen, a highly flexible tinned copper wire braid armor, and a final PVC outer sheath. This dual-sheathed, armored design provides reliable fire survival (IEC 60331), effective EMI shielding, and robust mechanical protection for vital telecommunication and data systems on ships, offshore platforms, and in demanding industrial plants.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Guaranteed Fire Survival (IEC 60331): The mica glass tape + XLPE insulation (Code J) is designed to maintain circuit integrity during a fire, ensuring emergency communications and control signals remain functional.
-
Flexible Armor with EMI/RFI Shielding: The tinned copper wire braid armor (Code 8) provides robust mechanical protection with high flexibility for easier routing. Combined with the overall screen (Code P), it ensures protection against electromagnetic interference for clear signal transmission.
-
Robust Environmental & Mechanical Protection: The dual-layer PVC sheath system (Inner V & Outer 2) offers comprehensive protection against abrasion, moisture, oils, and general environmental stress.
-
Flame Retardant: Complies with Flame Retardant standards (IEC 60332-1 & -3-22) to inhibit the spread of fire along the cable.
