Key Performance Characteristics

  • Superior EPR Insulation: Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) provides outstanding dielectric properties, excellent thermal stability, and high flexibility, ensuring reliable power transmission under demanding conditions.

  • Enhanced High-Temperature Sheath System: Features a complete dual-sheath (inner and outer) made of cross-linked polyolefin (SHF2). This material offers superior thermal endurance and deformation resistance in elevated ambient temperature environments.

  • Halogen-Free Enhanced Safety: The cable is constructed with halogen-free, low-smoke materials (IEC 60754 & IEC 61034) and is flame retardant (IEC 60332), minimizing corrosive gas and smoke emission for enhanced personnel safety.

  • Effective EMI Shielding & Durability: The tinned copper wire braid armor provides reliable electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. The tough, cross-linked outer sheath adds an extra layer of mechanical and environmental protection.

Standards & Compliance

This cable is designed and manufactured in accordance with key international marine and safety standards:

  • IEC 60092-350, 353 (General construction and tests)

  • IEC 60228 (Conductors)

  • IEC 60092-360 (Insulation and sheath materials)

  • IEC 60332-1 & IEC 60332-3-22 (Flame retardancy tests)

Typical Applications

This cable is suited for critical installations requiring a combination of high electrical performance, thermal sheath resistance, and EMI protection:

  • Marine & Offshore: Internal wiring for control panels, switchboards, and instrumentation in engine rooms or other higher-temperature areas on ships and offshore platforms.

  • Industrial: Flexible power and control connections in industrial settings where enhanced fire safety, EMI shielding, and performance in warmer environments are required.
