CJPJR80/NC Marine Flexible Power Cable | Fire-Resistant with High-Temp Sheath & Copper Braid (0.6/1kV)

Product Overview

The CJPJR80/NC is a premium halogen-free, low-smoke, fire-resistant marine flexible power cable engineered for critical circuits operating in higher ambient temperature environments. It uniquely combines a mica glass tape and XLPE fire-resistant insulation system with a fully cross-linked polyolefin (SHF2) dual-sheath and tinned copper wire braid armor. This design provides certified circuit integrity during a fire, superior thermal endurance, effective EMI shielding, and robust mechanical protection for the most demanding safety systems.

Key Performance Characteristics

  • Certified Fire Resistance (IEC 60331): The mica glass tape and XLPE insulation system ensures the cable maintains circuit integrity and continues to operate for a specified duration under direct fire, which is essential for all critical emergency circuits.

  • Enhanced High-Temperature Sheath Performance: Both the inner and outer sheaths are made from cross-linked polyolefin (SHF2), providing superior thermal stability and resistance to deformation in elevated ambient temperature environments compared to standard thermoplastic sheaths.

  • Comprehensive Fire Safety Package: Integrates fire resistance with flame retardancy (IEC 60332), halogen-free materials (IEC 60754), and low smoke emission (IEC 61034) for maximum personnel safety and equipment protection during a fire event.

  • Effective Shielding & Durability: The tinned copper wire braid armor provides excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) shielding. The tough, cross-linked outer sheath offers an additional layer of mechanical and environmental protection for the armor and core.

Standards & Compliance

This cable is manufactured to the highest international marine fire safety and construction standards:

  • IEC 60092-350, 353 (General construction and armor)

  • IEC 60228 (Conductors)

  • IEC 60092-360 (Insulation and sheath)

  • IEC 60331 (Fire Resistance)

  • IEC 60332-1 & IEC 60332-3-22 (Flame retardancy)

  • IEC 60754 (Halogen-free)

  • IEC 61034 (Low smoke density)

Typical Applications

This cable is specified for critical safety circuits where fire resistance must be coupled with performance in higher temperature areas and reliable EMI shielding:

  • Marine & Offshore: Essential feeds and control circuits for emergency generators, fire pumps, alarm systems, and emergency lighting located in engine rooms, machinery spaces, or other areas with elevated ambient temperatures on ships and offshore platforms.

  • Critical Infrastructure & Industrial: Safety-critical power and control wiring in power plants, industrial process control systems, and facilities where both certified fire-resistant cabling and enhanced temperature resistance for the sheath are required.
