Product Overview
The CEV/NA EPR Insulated Marine Power Cable is a non-armored, fire-resistant (IEC 60331) cable designed for critical safety circuits where flexibility and fire integrity are key, and additional mechanical armor is not required. Its core is insulated with mica glass tape and EPR to maintain circuit continuity during fire, all protected by a durable PVC outer sheath. This construction is ideal for protected installations demanding reliable fire survival performance.
Key Applications
-
Marine & Offshore: Ideal for emergency lighting, alarm systems, and control circuits routed within protected cable trays, conduits, or trunking in accommodation areas, control rooms, and bridge systems on ships and offshore platforms.
-
Industrial Safety: Suitable for fire-resistant power and control circuits in power plants, chemical facilities, and other industrial settings where cables are installed in controlled environments not subject to direct mechanical impact.
Compliance & Standards
This cable is designed and tested in accordance with key international safety standards:
-
