CEF92/NA 0.6/1kV Fire Resistant Marine Cable | Mica Tape, Steel Armor, PVC Sheath

Product Overview

The CEF92/NA EPR Insulated Armored Marine Power Cable is a fully-sheathed, heavy-duty fire-resistant cable designed for the most demanding safety-critical installations. It integrates mica glass tape and EPR insulation for superior circuit integrity during fire, a PCP inner sheath for flexibility and chemical resistance, robust galvanized steel wire braid armor for mechanical protection, and a final PVC outer sheath to provide complete environmental sealing against moisture, oils, and abrasion.

Key Applications

  • Marine & Offshore: Essential for emergency power, lighting, and control circuits on ships, oil rigs, and offshore platforms, particularly in exposed, wet, or chemically aggressive areas where maximum durability and fire survival are required.

  • High-Risk Industrial: Indispensable in metallurgy, chemical plants, power stations, and mining for circuits that must remain operational during a fire and are installed in harsh environments prone to physical damage and corrosion.

Compliance & Standards

This cable is manufactured in full compliance with key international safety and performance standards:

  • Design: IEC 60092-350, IEC 60092-353

  • Conductor: IEC 60228

  • Insulation & Sheath: IEC 60092-360

  • Fire Resistance: IEC 60331 (Circuit integrity under fire)

  • Flame Retardancy: IEC 60332-1, IEC 60332-3-22
