Product Overview

SIAF and SIAF-GL series silicone rubber cables deliver exceptional thermal resilience (-60°C to +180°C) for extreme environments. Featuring tinned copper conductors and halogen-free insulation, they maintain flexibility in critical applications like steel mills, power plants, and industrial ovens. The SIAF-GL variant adds glass fiber braiding for enhanced mechanical protection where conduit isn't feasible.

Material Advantages

  1. Tinned Copper Conductor:

    • Oxidation resistance at high temps

    • Superior conductivity (≥ 98% IACS)

    • Solderability for termination

  2. Silicone Rubber Insulation:

    • Maintains flexibility at -60°C

    • Non-tracking under arc exposure

    • UV/ozone resistant

  3. Glass Fiber Braid (SIAF-GL):

    • Continuous withstand: 550°C (short-circuit)

    • Abrasion/cut-through protection

    • Non-melting reinforcement

Application Scenarios

SIAF Cable (Unbraided):

  • Internal wiring of ovens/industrial heaters

  • Switchboard installations in smelters

  • Textile machinery control circuits

  • Lighting systems in high-bay warehouses

SIAF-GL Cable (Braided):

  • Steel mill ladle crane wiring

  • Power plant burner management systems

  • Ship engine room circuits (IEC 60092 compliant)

  • Aircraft ground support equipment

  • Foundry sensor connections
