AWA Armor Aluminum Conductor XLPE Insulated Power Cable

Product Overview

Aluminum wire armoured cable is designed for industrial wiring and mains distribution. It can be laid direct in the ground, or in ducts, clipped to surface, on trays, or in free air. It may also be embedded in concrete.

Features & Benefits

  • Long-Term Working Temperature: XLPE insulated cable: 90°C; PVC insulated cable: 70°C.

  • Laying Conditions: Ambient temperature during cable laying must be above 0°C.

  • Bending Radius:

    • Unarmoured cable: not less than 6 times the external diameter of the cable.

    • Armoured or copper tape screened cable: not less than 12 times the external diameter of the cable.

    • Flexible cable with screen layers: not less than 6 times the external diameter of the cable.

  • Special Options: Fire-retardant, flame-resisting, low-halogen, low-fume, non-halogen, acid and alkali proof versions available upon request.
