CHJP85/SC Marine Communication Cable – XLPE Insulated, Screened, Flexible Copper Armor, SHF2 Sheathed (LSHF)

Product Overview

The CHJP85/SC is a high-flexibility Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSHF) Flame Retardant marine communication cable engineered for superior signal integrity and ease of installation in complex systems. It features XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) insulation, an overall electromagnetic screen, a highly flexible tinned copper wire braid armor, and a durable cross-linked polyolefin (SHF2) outer sheath. This combination delivers excellent fire safety, robust EMI protection, outstanding mechanical resilience, and superior environmental resistance for critical telecommunication and data networks on ships, offshore platforms, and in industrial facilities, in full compliance with IEC 60092 standards.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Enhanced Fire Safety (LSHF/SC Grade): Halogen-Free (IEC 60754) and Low Smoke (IEC 61034) properties minimize toxic fume emission and smoke density. Certified Flame Retardant (IEC 60332-1 & -3-22) to inhibit fire spread.

  • Flexible Armor with Superior EMI Shielding: The tinned copper wire braid armor (Code 8) provides excellent mechanical protection with high flexibility for easy routing. Combined with the overall screen (Code P), it ensures outstanding protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI).

  • High-Performance SHF2 Sheath: The cross-linked polyolefin (SHF2) sheath (Code 5) offers exceptional thermal stability, chemical resistance, and mechanical toughness, providing superior long-term protection compared to standard thermoplastic sheaths.

  • Optimal for Complex Installations: The flexible construction and high-performance sheath make this cable ideal for demanding installations where routing ease, durability, and signal clarity are paramount.
