Product Overview
The CHJVP90/SA is a heavy-duty armored and screened marine communication cable designed for robust telecommunication and data systems in demanding environments. It features durable XLPE insulation, a PVC inner sheath, an electromagnetic screen, and a protective galvanized steel wire braid armor. Notably supplied without an outer sheath (Code 0), this configuration is engineered for installations requiring the armored core to be pulled into conduit, embedded, or where a final, site-specific protective jacket will be applied. It meets Flame Retardant standards (IEC 60332) for safety in bundled installations.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Superior Mechanical Durability: The galvanized steel wire braid armor (Code 9) provides exceptional protection against impact, crushing, and rodent damage, suitable for the most demanding and exposed installation routes.
-
Effective EMI Shielding: The integrated screen (tinned copper braid or Alu/Polyester tape) ensures protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI), guaranteeing signal integrity for critical instrumentation and data transmission.
-
Installation & Application Flexibility: The absence of an outer sheath allows for direct use in conduit systems, concrete embedment, or facilitates the addition of a custom, environment-specific oversheath on-site, offering great adaptability.
-
Certified Flame Retardant Safety: Complies with IEC 60332-1 and IEC 60332-3-22 for flame retardant performance, inhibiting the spread of fire in cable bundles.
