NMD90 is a flame-retardant, heat/moisture-resistant cable designed for power and lighting circuits in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Compliant with CSA C22.2 No. 48 and bearing UL File E487898.

  1. Conductor:

    • Copper Type: 14–2 AWG solid copper + 14–2 AWG copper ground.

    • Aluminum Type: 6–2 AWG AA-8000 ACM alloy + AL ground (grey).

  2. Insulation: PVC (color-coded per conductor).

  3. Inner Jacket: Nylon barrier (moisture resistance).

  4. Outer Jacket: PVC (flame-retardant FT1, heat/moisture-resistant).

  5. Configuration:

    • 2-conductor: Flat parallel ("parcel laid").

    • 3/4-conductor: Round laid.


4. Applications

  • Dry Locations: Exposed or concealed wiring (e.g., walls, attics).

  • Damp Locations: Concealed only (subject to CEC Section 4-008).

  • Exclusions: Wet locations, direct burial, or corrosive environments.

Installation Note: Store at >0°C for 24 hours prior to handling.
