Product Description

Application
  • NMD90 cables may be used for exposed work in dry locations or concealed work in dry or damp locations.
  • Maximum allowable conductor temperature: 90°C.
  • Minimum recommended installation temperature:
    • Two-conductor cables: -25°C or -40°C (with suitable handling procedures).
    • Three-conductor cables: -25°C.
  • Storage: Material should be stored above 0°C for 24 hours prior to installation.
  • Maximum voltage rating: 300 volts for all intended applications.
  • Reference: Consult the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) for further information.

Structure

  1. Conductor:
    • Copper conductor with copper grounding wire (14 AWG to 2 AWG).
    • Aluminium alloy (8000 series ACM) with aluminium grounding wire (Grey, 6 AWG to 2 AWG).
  2. Insulation: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
  3. Protective covering: Nylon.
  4. Jacket: PVC, heat and moisture-resistant, flame retardant (FT1).
  5. Number of conductors:
    • 2 parallel laid.
    • 3 or 4 round laid.

  • CSA C22.2 No. 48 (non-metallic sheathed cable).
